The new part of Boruto’s story, called “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex,” is out now. You can read it for free on Viz Media and MangaPlus. This is the start of the second part of Boruto’s story after the first part ended in April 2023, and it continues after a time jump.

Boruto’s Return: Embrace the Adventure of Two Blue Vortex
“Boruto: Two Blue Vortex” keeps telling the story of Boruto Uzumaki, where the first part left off. It’s been three years since then, and Boruto is still on the run. People think he killed Naruto because of a power called Eida’s Omnipotence, which makes their deepest wish come true.
In the beginning of chapter 1, Sarada is trying to make the new leader, Nara Shikamaru, believe that Boruto is innocent. But only Sarada and Sumire remember the truth. Everyone else thinks Boruto killed Naruto.
Kawaki, who used to consider Boruto a brother, is now working with other ninja to protect themselves from Code and find Boruto. Mitsuki is watching out for Kawaki too. They’re training and looking for both of them. Himawari, Naruto’s daughter, might also remember Boruto’s real actions.

In the middle of chapter 1, we learn that Code is attacking and leaving marks. Kawaki fights back, but Code can also make these marks on people and move through them.
When they sense strange chakras, the ninja gather to fight Code’s monsters. Kawaki and Sarada fight, and Code shows himself to Sarada. He wants to use Boruto’s friends to make Boruto come out. Sarada tells him they haven’t found Boruto either.
Code’s new plan is to use Boruto’s friends to lure him out. And then, unexpectedly, Boruto lands where Code is. This sets up a possible fight between Code, his monsters, Boruto (and maybe his friend), and the ninja.
