The co-creator of The Venture Bros. expressed surprise that the cartoon series had been taken down from the MAX streaming service. Digital copies of The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart have been available since July 21; the Blu-ray release date is set for July 25.
The movie’s synopsis gives away some of the plot by saying-
“Doc’s latest invention will either bankrupt Team Venture or launch them to new heights, as Hank searches for himself, Dean seeks for Hank, The Monarch searches for answers, and a mysterious woman from their pasts harms to bring their entire world crashing down on them.”
Instead of Season 8 of The Venture Bros., which was supposed to air but was ultimately canceled, this serves as the series finale.
Is Venture Bros Leaving Max?
A popular Adult Swim sitcom is ending its run on the Max streaming service before its finale arrives on digital and Blu-ray this Summer.
Since Warner Bros. Discovery merged its HBO Max and Discovery+ streaming service offerings, Adult Swim series have gradually been removed from Max’s streaming service, leading to a number of unexpected removals at a time when these properties were generating more interest than ever from fans. Because it’s only ending this month, fans are understandably shocked by reports of its impending cancellation.
The original The Venture Bros. TV series is rumored to be removed from the Max streaming service on August 12th, following the release of the digital and Blu-ray versions of the franchise-ending film The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart.
The listing was discovered by @Swimpedia on Twitter; the series is scheduled to be taken down in the next month; however, neither Adult Swim nor a prospective new streaming home has been announced as of this initial sighting.
