Is Hyunjin Leaving SKZ?
No, Hyunjin won’t be permanently leaving Stray Kids but he was suspended in 2021. Despite the difficulties he encountered as a result of claims of bullying, he showed a dedication to personal development and redemption.

Why did Hyunjin Suspend From Stray Kids?
Although Hyunjin was briefly suspended in 2021, there are no plans for him to depart Stray Kids. Someone anonymously came out on social media in February 2021 and said that Hyunjin had verbally abμsed them in middle school.
When the allegations first surfaced, Stray Kids’ management company “JYP Entertainment” launched its own inquiry.
The anonymous poster, Hyunjin’s previous instructors and other classmates were all questioned by JYP. The management company said in a statement:
“Hyunjin will take the time to self-reflect after halting all of his activities as a celebrity, He sincerely regrets and is self-reflecting on the fact that he hurt various people in middle school with his rough and unsuitable words. He has sincerely apologised to those who were hurt and is doing his best so that those people can heal from those wounds.”
According to the statement, several people JYP spoke with had memories of that time are completely different from each other and they pleaded with the public not to propagate misinformation about the situation. They wrote:
“Lastly, we ask that everyone refrain from spreading false rumors and speculative reports, We will take more careful measures regarding the trainee and artist selection process that we weren’t alert about before.”
Hyunjin then expressed regret for it. He also shared a written statement on Instagram.
According to a translation, Hyunjin said:
“First of all, I sincerely apologize to those who were hurt by my improper actions during my school years. Looking back on times when I was more lacking, I am embarrassed and have no excuse.”
He continued:
“Whether it was intended or not, I don’t think I can be forgiven at all for giving unforgettable pain to someone.”
Around four months later on June 26 at midnight good news was announced for the star’s fans. The Stray Kids “Hyunjin” teaser image and the Mixtape video were made public. Fans are in tears as they watch their favorite idol make a comeback following his disgrace in a particular video.
