Sonic Prime is an animated television series based on the “Sonic the Hedgehog” video game franchise. Sega of America, Netflix Animation, WildBrain Studios and Man of Action Entertainment are the co-producers of the series. It is the franchise’s sixth animated television series.
On December 15, 2022, the first season’s eight episodes were made available on Netflix. On July 13, 2023, the second season which likewise has 8 episodes was made available.
Is Sonic Prime Season 3 Renewed by Netflix?
Netflix has not yet announced Season 3 of Sonic Prime. There was a seven-month gap between seasons one and two, so we anticipate that season three is likely to air in 2024.
The first season was well-received by critics and audiences alike and it debuted in the top five of the charts that December 2022, no easy task given the abundance of holiday programming.
The official details of Sonic Prime Season 3 are currently unknown. However, once that cliffhanger is over, the tale should pick up where it left off.
