Kaguya-sama: Aka Akasaka, author of Love is War and Mengo Yokoyari, author of Scum’s Wish collaborate on Oshi no Ko. Season 2 of Oshi no Ko, which was a huge smash during the spring 2023 anime season, will eventually be made available to the public.
When can we expect to see it on HIDIVE? This is all the information we have so far regarding the release date of Season 2 of Oshi no Ko.
When will Oshi No Ko Season 2 be Available?
In 2024 or 2025, we might see the premiere of Season 2 of Oshi No Ko. After the conclusion of the first season of Oshi no Ko, a second season was announced. However, no official release date was included in the announcement. Given how well-received Oshi no Ko has been, season two could premiere as soon as 2024.
The first episode of Oshi no Ko Season 1 aired on April 12, 2023. The premiere of Oshi no Ko on HIDIVE was the “#1 series launch in the streamer’s history,” as reported by Anime News Network. Since HIDIVE is the only place to watch Oshi no Ko, it stands to reason that the second season will also be available there.

The Plot of Oshi No Ko Season 2
Story information for season 2 of Oshi No Ko is still scant, although fans of the anime and manga may probably guess what will be covered. In the last moments of Episode 11, “Idol,” Aqua was invited to join the Lala Lai Theatrical Company, the same theatrical troupe to which Ai belonged, for their production of Tokyo Blade.
Since Kaburagi believes that Ai met Aqua and Ruby’s father in Lala Lai, he will likely use his participation with Tokyo Blade to learn more about Ai’s relationship with them and, potentially, uncover his father’s identity to exact retribution.
