Dr. Stone Season 3 premiered last spring, beginning the New World Arc from Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi’s original Dr. Stone manga run and will return later this year, with the release window for Part 2 of the newest season now confirmed.
Senku and several of the other members of the Kingdom of Science built a ship in Season 3 of Dr. Stone and set sail over the open seas in pursuit of the spacecraft in which Senku’s father had first landed on Earth, many years before Senku and the others were freed from their stone prisons. Once they reached the island where the ship was, however, they ran into a whole other set of problems.
Dr. Stone originally stated that Season 3 will consist of two courses of episodes to cover the New World Arc’s events, and the most recent episode marked the midseason finale for the anime.
