Trent has five children as many of us already know by watching the show 7 Little Johnstons on Amazon. He does not have a brother and Heidi Johnston is not his sister, according to his social media profiles.
They both have the same last name, that’s why people think that they are siblings. But reality TV actress and Instagram star Heidi Johnston is not related to her. Johnston has also avoided disclosing the names and identities of his parents, siblings and any relatives except his wife and children.

About 25 years have passed since he wed his wife Amber Johnston. They even took a journey from Georgia to Key West, Florida to commemorate their 25th wedding anniversary.
On Instagram, we can see images of them savoring their special day for the first time without the kids.
Elizabeth and Jonah are the couple’s only biological children and they also adopted Ana from Siberia, Alex from South Korea and Emma from China. Alex and Emma are junior high students and they attended the homecoming dance with Alex’s girlfriend, Allie.
The youngest of his five children is Emma. The family proudly embraced their diverse ancestry and cultures despite having several roots. Trent and his family proudly refer to themselves as the “seven dwarfs of real life.”
The seven-member family first caught the public’s and media’s attention when they appeared on TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons. The series debuted in 2015 and ran for 13 seasons before being canceled in 2023.
The family chose to discontinue the show and separate ways in order to explore life on their own because most of the children are now adults and prepared to step outside of their comfort zones.
