Anna Shay, the star of the Netflix reality series “Bling Empire,” pἀssed away on Monday after having a str0ke, according to a statement from her family. She was 62 years old.
The statement stated:
“It breaks our hearts to inform the pἀssing of Anna Shay, a devoted mother, grandmother, dynamic personality, and our brightest light of sunshine.”
Anna gave us many lessons about enjoying the finer things in life and not taking life too seriously. We will m0urn her terribly but never forget her impact on our lives.
When “Bling Empire” debuted in 2021, Shay made her first appearance there. She continued to make appearances throughout the second and third seasons.
“Bling Empire” tracked the affluent Asian and Asian American elites of Los Angeles. Alongside Shay, the series also featured Christine Chiu, Kim Lee, Kane Lim, Kevin Kreider, and Kelly Mi Li.
Following the news on Monday 5 June, Kreider paid tribute to Shay on his verified Instagram profile, writing, “You never know when your last goodbye will be. So unexpected, and I wish I had stopped to smell the roses and go on one last trip with you when I last saw you for lunch.
Mi Li wrote on her Instagram-
“You were truly one of a kind and we will miss you forever”.
Shay had a largely private life prior to being on the reality series, but her lifestyle, money and occasionally bashful demeanor were all on display.
According to Shay, “whatever it is on the show is how I am,” and she joined the cast of “Bling Empire” as something to do for herself after caring for her son, Kenny Kemp, for the preceding few years, she said in a 2021 interview with Town & Country.
