Who is Paul Simons’ Wife?
The current wife of Paul Simons is Edie Brickell. Paul has been married to her since 1992 and it is the subject of his longest-lasting union. Edie and Paul actually first connected through music. She remembered the legendary artist watching her perform her song “What I Am”.
She claimed to have seen him in front of a photographer. She said:
“We may play the tape for the kids and tell them Look, that’s when we first laid eyes on each other, despite the fact that I had performed the song countless times in clubs.”
Paul and Edie have been married for 30 years. They have three children: Adrian, Lulu and Gabriel. Despite being Paul’s longest-lasting marriage, theirs hasn’t always been easy.

Who is the Ex-wife of Paul Simons?
In 1969, Paul married Peggy Harper for the first time. In 1971, the couple gave birth to Harper Simon. Even though they eventually got divorced in 1975, he found a lot of inspiration during their relationship. His 1972 song “Run That Body Down” makes specific mentions of both him and Peggy.
The year following the divorce, the song “50 Ways To Leave Your Lover” was also made public. Paul’s 1983 song “Train In The Distance” brought their relationship back to life years after they had broken up.
Paul started seeing Carrie Fisher after a few years of relationship with Shelley Duvall and the two eventually got married in 1983. The Star Wars actress, who pἀssed away in 2016 at the age of 60, dἀted Paul intermittently between the end of the 1970s and the beginning of the 1980s.
It was obvious that they were still in love with one another despite their numerous breakups. Paul told:
“We still value each other greatly. Nobody else is like Carrie. She has one of the sharpest minds I know and she is quite funny. In 1983, She is very unusual.”
Weeks after their 1983 breakup, the couple got back together. However, this time they wed in front of a large celebrity guest list that included Billy Joel, Lorne Michaels, Christie Brinkley and George Lucas. In 1984, they split up once more.
