Celine Dion has canceled all her remaining live events, informing fans that she is too sick to tour after being dἰagnosed with a rare neurological ἰllness. Last year, the singer disclosed that Stiff-Person Syndrome (SPS), which was affecting her singing, was a problem for her. As of now, Dion has canceled each show she had planned for 2023 and 2024.
In a message released on Twitter, the 55-year-old Celine Dion said-
“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again… and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything until I’m really ready to be back on stage… I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!”

In an emotional Instagram video in December 2022, the French Canadian singer revealed that she had been diagnosed with SPS and could not begin her European tour in February as scheduled.
She said, “I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time, and it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through…It hurts me to tell you that I won’t be ready to restart my tour in Europe in February.”

When Dion’s Courage World Tour started in 2019, she performed 52 shows before the Covid-19 outbreak forced her to postpone the remaining dates. Due to health issues, she later postponed the European portion of the tour and canceled the North American dates.
The postponed European concerts, which included those in London, Zurich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Dublin, Paris, and Stockholm, were all canceled on Friday, May 26. Her tour stated that it had “a sense of tremendous disappointment” about canceling the events.

The statement quoted Dion as stating–

“I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%.”

Dion was scheduled to embark on her first world tour in ten years without her manager-husband, Rene Angelil, who dἰed from cἀncer in 2016. Dion is best known for her hits My Heart Will Go On, All By Myself, Because You Loved Me, and It’s All Coming Back To Me Now.
