Blue Ivy, the 11-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and JAY-Z, appeared on stage on Friday, May 27, during her mother’s Renaissance World Tour stop in Paris, France. She participated in the dance breakdown of “My Power,” a song from Beyoncé’s 2019 The Lion King companion album, The Gift, and the performance of her 2020 single, “Black Parade.”
Blue Ivy, the second-youngest Grammy Award winner ever, performed the choreography to both songs with Beyoncé’s backup dancers while wearing a glittering silver dress similar to her mother’s. After her performance, Beyoncé, 41, urged the crowd to “give it up for Blue,” to which they passionately responded.
Tina Knowles-Lawson, Beyoncé’s mother and Blue Ivy’s grandmother, praised the adolescent’s performance in a message on Instagram posted on Saturday.
After Blue Ivy’s performance, Knowles-Lawson, 69, captioned a video of the singer-

“Last night I saw my beautiful grandbaby (11) dance in the front of almost 70 thousand people !”

The Proud grandmother continued, “She killed it and was as cool as a cucumber! Blue Ivy Carter No Fear.”

In a subsequent post on Instagram, Knowles-Lawson included another Blue Ivy performance video and wrote, “Last Night !! Blue Ivy proud grandma.”

In January, during Beyoncé’s hour-long show at the brand-new Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai, Blue Ivy sang along with her mother to their song “Brown Skin Girl” as a duet. Blue Ivy sang part of the Grammy Award-winning song as her mother performed her pieces while donning a yellow corseted dress with a matching back piece and feathery skirt.

After the song, according to Variety, Blue Ivy hugged her mother and proceeded up the platform before striking a pose and blowing kἰsses to the audience in front of her. Blue Ivy received composition credit for the song, which was her first official feature and her first official entry onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The first solo performance by Beyoncé in seven years took place earlier this month as she launched her Renaissance World Tour at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Several songs from her seventh studio album Renaissance, including “Alien Superstar,” “Pure/Honey,” “Cuff It,” and “Plastic Off the Sofa,” are included on the set list for the event.

It also includes a ton of classics from Beyoncé’s extensive career, such as “Partition,” “Crazy in Love” and “Love on Top.” During the first night of the performance, which was produced by Parkwood Entertainment and presented by Live Nation, JAY-Z, 53, and Blue Ivy were present to show their support.
