Brian Laundrie Cause of Deἀth

Brian Laundrie’s cause of deἀth was made public on Monday (22 May) after investigators reported that just his b0nes remained after being partially consumed by animals following his deἀth. Brian Laundrie was Gabby Petito’s fiancé and his disappearance last summer set off a firestorm.

An autopsy report by the Sarasota, Florida, Medical Examiner, Laundrie pἀssed away from a head w0und caused by a gunsh0t.

According to the medical examiner’s report, Laundrie’s skeleton remains were discovered in a heavily wooded region of the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County in October after spending a significant amount of time “under up to three feet and possibly more” of water.

Laundrie’s skeleton was all that was left, according to officials, because of “extensive carnivore activity evidenced by multiple gouging and gnawing marks consistent with carnivores or omnivores including canines such as feral dogs and coyotes along with rodents and raccoons.

Items found at the area where Laundrie’s remains were discovered were also described in the 47-page report, including a backpack with a tent and flares, a piece of paper with the “Moab Coffee Roasters” brand and a red cap, and a wooden box with a small notebook and pictures.

 FBI says Laundrie wrote that he was accountable for Gabby Petito’s deἀth in the notebook that was discovered with his remains.

When Laundrie’s body was discovered, a weeks-long mἀnhunt had been underway. Steve Bertolino, an attorney representing the Laundrie family, his deἀth was deemed a suicἰde when his family was informed that he had sh0t himself in the head.
