Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost gave the Cannes Film Festival a night of glittering romance. Beautifully dressed and showing some PDA, the couple attended the Palais des Festivals premiere of Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, in which Scarlett plays Midge Campell.

The Marvel expert, who is 38 years old, looked stunning in a pink Prada gown that was made especially for her and revealed a massive tattoo of a flower design with a gentle lamb off to the side. She accessorized her pastel dress with crimson lipstick and diamond stud earrings, and Colin, 40, wore a classic black tuxedo.
On the red carpet, they posed with their hands on each other’s backs, symboling their closeness throughout the evening. (Her co-stars from “Asteroid City,” Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Maya Hawke, and Steve Carell, were all there.)
This was Scarlett and Colin’s first time walking the red carpet together in two years since the Kennedy Center Honors. Since they sealed the knot in 2020, their love story has mostly been under wraps. Their son Cosmo, now 2 years old, was born the following year.
She explained to Gwyneth Paltrow on the Goop podcast-
“I didn’t know what I wanted or needed from somebody else.I never realized, ‘Oh, it’s essential for me, I need to be with a compassionate person. That’s a fundamental characteristic that has to be there.’ I think understanding the fundamental things you need in a partner is a must.”
The Her actress added-
“I think identifying those things was a game-changer for me.”
Colin wrote about his feelings for Scarlett in his upcoming biography, A Very Punchable Face (due in 2020), describing her beauty and charm as “unparalleled.” He said, “I’ve met someone I love and feel more comfortable with than I ever have.”
