The order of events is as follows: falling in love, getting married, and then having a baby. Many people believe that a conventional approach to romantic relationships and parenthood is optimal. Modern dynamics, however, have also been shown to be effective.
After the latter, Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) on Law & Order: SVU had her own children, Jessie and Billie, and left the unit in the midst of Season 24 to focus on her family.
But in April 2023, fans were pleased to find that Rollins would be back for some episodes of Season 24 SVU and some episodes of Season 3 Organized Crime – and that she was pregnant!
Fans started wondering if Kelli Giddish was actually pregnant when set images from that month surfaced online.
Is Kelli Giddish Pregnant?
Kelli’s recent Instagram posts make it impossible to know if the actor is currently expecting.
Kelli has two children from her marriage to Lawrence Faulborn, which ended in divorce. The pair tied the knot in 2015, and they have two sons together: Ludo, born in October of that year, and Charlie, born in November of 2018. Actually, Ludo played one of Rollins’ daughters on SVU.
They split up in 2018, and Kelli is now engaged to be married to Beau Richards. Photos of her husband and kids being cute can be found on her Instagram page.

Kelli Giddish Character Returned while Pregnant in SVU Season 24
Oh, sweetie! In April 2023, images of Kelli Giddish and Mariska Hargitay (Captain Olivia Benson) were released on the @NBCSVU_fans fan page on Twitter and fans of Law & Order: SVU were ecstatic.
Kelli and Mariska appear to be chatting and hugging on the set of the show in the collection of photos. Mariska may be seen in one photo lovingly holding Kelli’s character’s growing baby bulge.

Rollins and her longtime boyfriend, ADA Dominick Carisi (Peter Scanavino), tied the knot in front of the unit’s cameras before she left. As a result, Amanda’s unborn child is probably Carisi’s.
Remember that Amanda is now teaching criminal behavior as an adjunct professor at Fordham University after leaving SVU. The writers bringing Amanda back in whatever form is understandable in light of her job shift.
