Princess Eugenie is pregnant. A statement from Buckingham Palace revealed that the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II is expecting a child. This child will be the couple’s second child who will join August Philip Hawke their first child who was born in February 2021.
The palace said in the announcement:
“August Philip Hawke is eagerly anticipating becoming a big brother and Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are happy to announce that they are expecting their second child this summer.”
Princess Eugenie also announced the news on her Instagram page in a contemporary manner. She showed a picture of August hugging his mother and wrapping his arms around her legs, which Jack had snapped.
The adorable picture was accompanied by Eugenie with the words, “We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer.”
The new member will be the thirteenth in line to the British monarch. On February 20, 2021, Princess Eugenie posted the images of her first son on Instagram in a style that was approachable and modern. Their first public family portrait was captioned, “Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can’t express.”
In 2010, Jack and Princess Eugenie went skiing in Verbier, Switzerland. Jack concurred with Eugenie’s assertion that it was “love at first sight” during their engagement interview. During a trip to Nicaragua in January 2018, Jack proposed to Princess Eugenie.
The Royal said:
“The water was really lovely. Even though we had been together for seven years, the light was really a special light I had never seen and I genuinely said, This is an incredible moment before he proposed. I was quite happy.”
On October 12, 2018, the pair exchanged vows in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
