The premiere of the new spy thriller Citadel was quite the event and early reviews indicate that viewers will remain captivated throughout the entirety of the show’s six episodes. Cast as former elite agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, respectively, the show features Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in their current guises.

Kane’s old Citadel partner Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci) tracks him down, and the two of them team up again to stop Manticore from creating a global dictatorship.

Prime Video subscribers may start watching the six-part series now, but they’ll have to be patient because new episodes will drop every week. The first two episodes have premiered simultaneously, which is wonderful news; however, when will the third episode be added to the streaming service?

Below is Citadel’s full release schedule. The first two episodes premiered simultaneously on Prime Video, but the remaining four are being broadcast weekly, with the final episode debuting on May 26.

How many Episodes does Citadel Have?

Citadel has six episodes, with the first two debuting on Prime Video this Friday (April 28), and the remainder debuting weekly thereafter.

Even before the first season had aired, it was known that Citadel would be renewed for a second season. The Russo brothers’ series has been renewed for a second season, although how many episodes will be in it has not yet been announced, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

According to Deadline, the California Film Commission confirmed in early April that the show would receive $25 million in tax credits to move from the UK to California for season 2.
