Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge tied the knot in a Lavish ceremony in the South of France on Saturday, April 22, 2023. At a ceremony, she said, “I do” to music industry executive Elliot Grainge.
The bride walked down the aisle in a custom-made Chanel wedding gown with a train covered in white and iridescent beads.
After the ceremony, guests dined poolside at Eden Roc to the sounds of a jazz trio consisting of piano, bass and drums. From the hotel, the service was held under a canopy awning, a distance of about two hundred yards.
On April 20, 2022, Richie posted two images to Instagram commemorating the couple’s engagement. With the photo, she wrote, “Forever isn’t long enough @elliot.”
Many of Richie’s friends commented on the post to express their happiness for him and his new wife.
In April 2021, Richie posted an Instagram post in which the couple show the bond of their loving relationship. In the post, she included a black love emoji next to a photo of the couple.
Grainge established the record label 10K Projects and serves as its chief executive officer. His father, Lucian Grainge, chairs and runs Universal Music Group.
The two had known one other for quite some time prior to their love involvement with one another. Sir Lucian Grainge’s father was good friends with Richie’s father, the great singer Lionel Richie.
Her father publicly approved of Richie and Grainge after she announced her engagement publicly. The “Hello” singer revealed the news to Access Hollywood on April 26 following his daughter’s declaration.
“Elliot is my favorite, I’ve known him since he was a child. This isn’t a situation where I need to double-check on the kid. It’s someone I recognize.”
“They truly bring joy to each other. He’s an old soul who puts in a lot of effort. He recently moved her into his home, which he owns. Everyone she knows is overjoyed for her because she finally found someone to love. They complement one another wonderfully.”
