On March 25, 2018, HBO premiered Barry, a new American black comedic crime drama series developed by Alec Berg and Bill Hader. Hader plays the lead role of Barry Berkman, a hitman from Cleveland who travels to Los Angeles to carry out a hit but instead enrolls in an acting class taught by Gene Cousineau (Henry Winkler).
There, he meets aspiring actress Sally Reed (Sarah Goldberg) and begins to question his life’s direction while also dealing with criminal associates like Monroe Fuches (Stephen Root) and NoHo Hank (Anthony Carrigan).
Barry’s fourth season is a superb television show. With its last eight episodes, Bill Hader’s profoundly moving dramedy strikes the perfect balance between the show’s signature blend of oddball humor and existential sorrow.

Bill Hader plays Barry Berkman/Barry Block, a former Marine from Cleveland who becomes a hitman and eventually an actor in this installment. Each of the eight episodes was directed by Bill Hader. Furthermore, Season 4 of Barry is said to be the series’ last.
The protagonist of the show is Barry Berkman, a hitman from Cleveland and former Marine who served in Afghanistan. Traveling to Los Angeles to eliminate a potential threat, he unexpectedly discovers community and meaning among a group of would-be actors.
