How The Lack of Mandalorian Season 3 Post-Credit Scene Raises Questions About the Future?

With the help of fellow Mandalorian Bo-Katan Kryze, the title character of the third season of the American television series The Mandalorian played by Pedro Pascal travels to Mandalore with his adoptive son Grogu in order to atone for his past wrongdoings.

It is a Star Wars film that takes place after Return of the Jedi. Jon Favreau is the showrunner and the season is made by Lucasfilm, Fairview Entertainment and Golem Creations. By the end of April 2020, The Mandalorian’s third season had already started to take shape.

The Mandalorian occasionally features post-credits scenes that add excitement and enjoyment, but the season 3 finale recognized how to effectively wrap up the plot. Despite the nature of upcoming TV episodes like Ahsoka, it’s admirable that The Mandalorian creative team didn’t adhere to the standard pattern for most post-credits scenes.

A Refreshing Finale of Mandalorian Season 3 Without Post Credit Scene

There is no post-credits sequence in the Mandalorian season 3 finale which is beneficial for Din Djarin and Grogu. Din and his recently adopted son Grogu experience a serene finish that brings the entire saga to a satisfying close.

That runs the risk of being undermined by a post-credits scene which undoubtedly would have served as a setup for the future. The conclusion now has a sense of closure marking the conclusion of one chapter in Din and Grogu’s lives before they return for new adventures.

Even if a scene right after the credits would have been entertaining, it wouldn’t have been as effective. The lack of a post-credits scene also raises questions about Din Djarin and Grogu’s whereabouts, but this will only heighten the anticipation for their reappearance in The Mandalorian season 4.

They might even make an appearance in an episode of Ahsoka or Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, two Disney+ TV series set during the same time period given their new status since Din Djarin now works for the New Republic. This idea is purposefully left open-ended, which undoubtedly fuels viewers’ speculation.

There is no additional information on what Din Djarin and Grogu will be doing after season 3 of The Mandalorian because there isn’t a post-credits scene. To build up upcoming seasons, however, a post-credits sequence is not essential because The Mandalorian season 3 finale accomplished that task well.

Din will now work for the New Republic as a bounty hunteɼ which increases the likelihood that he will make an appearance in Ahsoka’s or Dave Filoni’s The Mandalorian.

Season 4 will undoubtedly center on how Din will continue to teach Grogu and whether or not he will be able to swear the creed now that the two have been sent on further adventures since Grogu has become officially Din Grogu.
