Moonbin a K-pop sensation and member of the boy band Astro pἀssed away on Wednesday (19 April) at the age of 25. Fantagio posted a statement on Instagram in which they said Moonbin “suddenly left us and became a star in the sky.”
Around 8:10 p.m., the star’s manager discovered him deἀd in his residence in southern Seoul. Yonhap news agency reported quoting police on Wednesday evening (19 April).
“All Astro members, Fantagio colleagues, executives and employees who’ve been together for a long time are deeply mourning the deceased in such great sadness and shock,” the music label said, adding that the sorrow of the star’s bereaved family was “incomparable.”
The music label acknowledged that it was difficult to communicate the unexpected news to fans because the late artist “always loved and thought of the fans more than anyone else.” Additionally, it requested that people “refrain from speculative and malicious reports” while the family was grieving.

In 2016, Moonbin made his Astro debut. The group’s other members are Yoon San-ha, MJ, Cha Eun-woo and Jinjin. Additionally, Moonbin played as a member of the recent Asian tour of the group Moonbin & Sanha.
