Season 4 of Love Is Blind premiered on Netflix on March 24, 2023, and featured 30 competitors, including Jackelina Bonds and Marshall Glaze. The show followed 15 men and 15 women from Seattle, Washington, as they engaged in speed dἀting within “Pods” where they could communicate with one another but not see one another.
During their time in “The Pods,” couples have the option of ending their romances or becoming engaged without ever meeting their future spouse. After the proposal, the couples get to know each other better on their honeymoon and get to know the other couples as well.
The couples, who all happen to live in the same city, return to reality after their trip, move in together to plan for their weddings, and meet each other’s families and friends. Couples face the age-old question of whether or not love is genuinely blind when they decide whether or not to marry on their wedding days.
More than 30 million people have watched Love Is Blind in its first two months on Netflix, making it one of the service’s most popular shows. Everyone wants to be accepted and appreciated for who they truly are, and I think that’s true everywhere in the world.
“Everyone wants to be loved for who they are,” creator Chris Coelen told Variety in 2020. “It doesn’t matter where you live, what you look like, how old you are, what your background is, what class you know, or what social structure you feel like you’re a part of. “Today, there are so many different methods to meet potential partners, from online dἀting sites to matchmaking services.
In a perverse way, these factors have increased people’s sense that they are expendable. The impression they’ve given is that everything is superficial. It has the opposite effect of what was intended. As a result, we wondered, “What if we took everybody’s devices away? How could we get them to focus on connecting with other people?”

What did Jackie say about Marshall in her texts that were revealed after the fourth season of Love Is Blind? A group text supposedly sent by Jackie and her pals in April 2023, around the time she dumped Marshall for Josh on Season 4 of Love Is Blind, was posted by an unidentified Instagram account.
He’s got good vibes, man. All hell broke loose [sic] once I vaguely alluded to y’all in my interview. Jackie allegedly wrote “So I had to like to switch it up” when discussing Marshall in a group text.
But he definitely gives me vibes because he used to tw*rk on the bed; I told him I was coming off that, and he was all yeah. So I told him to be more forceful with me this time. He’s rough around the edges, for sure, but he has a soft side. Reportedly, one pal texted back, “TW*RK ON THE BED? LMFAOOOOO. JACKIE. Also, props for voicing how much of a turnoff that garbage is.
According to the text message exchange, Jackie replied, “Yes he will twerk on the bed & I was like yeah no that’s not gone fly big homie hahaha & then he will say like ‘yasss’ & im like?????? DAMN SINCERE TRUTH. I don’t want to hear anyone at my wedding making noises about how he got sugar into his tank. We need to stretch it out before TV timeout.
The supposed reply from the second friend read: “LMAOOO nooo gotta make it to the altar.” “I can hear [REDACTED] yellin’ ‘HES A TEAPOT,'” Jackie apparently retorted. Another post purportedly from Jackie’s DMs showed her sending Josh a video of the two of them with the caption “My baby.”
