In the final season of The Mandalorian, does Paz Vizsla perish? It would undoubtedly take a lot to bring down the dedicated head of House Vizsla, given that he is a Heavy Infantry Mandalorian, a highly-skilled warrior, and armed with the strongest beskar armour possible.
You’ve probably already seen the seventh episode of The Mandalorian’s third season, which, without giving too much away, included some significant developments for the Star Wars bounty hunter.
Warning: this article contains huge Star Wars spoilers if you haven’t seen the episode yet. We warned you, so don’t complain. The real question is whether or not Paz Vizsla lives or dies. Come on, nerds, let’s get into it.
Is Paz Vizsla Dead?
Moff Gideon’s Praetorian Guards did indeed assassinate Paz Vizsla in episode 7 of season 3 of The Mandalorian. Bo-Katan uses the Darksaber to cut a hole in the cave door, allowing her and the other Mandalorians to escape from the evil Moff Gideon and his bear-armored Stormtroopers.
To buy more time for the others to escape, Paz Vizsla decides to stay behind and fight the Stormtroopers, assuring Katan, “This is the way.” The Stormtroopers are no match for him, but when three Praetorian Guards show there, the tides turn. Vizsla calmly collapses to the ground after being repeatedly stabbed by swords.
It’s quite improbable that Vizsla lived through that; he was slashed several times, presumably by more than one guard. Additionally, we witnessed the sight of his body, which in the realm of television indicates only one thing: the Star Wars character is indeed dead.
