A son was surprised when he opened her mom’s apartment door which was situated on Fairburn Road in northwest Atlanta. On Friday, 14 April 2023, when he came to his mom, found deἀd. What happened to his mom, read the complete matter.
Derrick Stevenson,s frightened when he enters his mom’s house and found her deἀd in the closet. “We walked in there, and saw a lot of blood,” Stevenson said. He said when he entered he saw a lot of blood and following that blood trail he reached where her mom’s remains body was laid. “She was in one of the closets, man. It hasn’t hit me yet,” he said.
“It just, it’s exactly what happens in the movies when you watch movies.” He said she was with one of her best friends who had not yet met me. He told me his mother’s name was Melinda Stevenson she was 44 years old, but most of our family members and friends called her Nicki.

“She was a great person and loved everybody. Great spirit, loved everybody, our whole community,” he said. “She made sure everybody is good and fed.”
After his complaint, Atlanta Police is investigating to find out the kἰller. Police said that around 5 p.m. he informed us and soon we reached the Fairburn Gordon Apartments on Fairburn Road NW.
Derrick said his mom called him and said she may be in trouble. Then he informs her other family members to visit her. Woody said when he came there
“There was blood on the bedroom floor. I saw the scarf that she had on yesterday, but we didn’t see anything else. My sister was like ‘did you check all the closets?’ So we went to the closet in the back. She was in there. It looked like she had been beaten.” Woody said she loved everyone and we can’t understand who can do this.
Police also have not opened any suspected person’s name yet. Derrick said the kἰller is still moving free. “As of right now, we don’t know exactly who’s responsible. We might have some leads,” he said. “I hope that when we figure out whoever did it, they pay for it.”
Derrick does not imagine what happened to her mom, after watching his mom’s body.
“She’s still with us man,” Stevenson said. “It hasn’t hit me yet, but I know she is still with us. I’m going to do everything she wants me to do.”
