John Green Didn't Like Taylor Swift's Album Era

During Taylor Swift’s The Eras tour, Swifties have been talking about which of the “eras” on her albums their lives right now are most like. This week, author John Green got in on the fun when he used a TikTok filter to find out what music has influenced him the most in his life.

The Fault in Our Stars author states, as the filter ultimately lands on Swift’s 2020 album Folklore –

“So one thing about me is that I know what Taylor Swift era I’m in. It’s something I spent a lot of time thinking about but let’s see if this is correct.”

Green disagreed and said that he can relate to Swift’s angry and seductive Reputation record right now. He concluded –

“Right now, I’m in my Reputation era, but when I grow up a little bit, I’d like to get to my Folklore era. That is where I hope I’m headed, but it’s not where I am at now.”

Swift’s The Eras tour will be at Tampa, Florida’s Raymond James Stadium for three nights in a row this weekend. She will then take a week off and go to Houston, Texas for three more nights the following weekend.

Do you know that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, who were in a public relationship for six years, are no longer together? Even though they tried to keep their relationship low-key, it was always on top:

It’s her first time on stage since the news came out that she and her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, had broken up. As part of her sold-out Eras Tour, the 33-year-old singer of “Anti-Hero” played at Raymond James Stadium.

She was in a good mood as she started what was supposed to be a three-hour show. Swift greeted the crowd at Raymond James Stadium between songs by saying, “We have a lot to catch up on.” Swift was back in the public eye with the show after her breakup with Alwyn, 32, was made public over the weekend.

The Grammy winner and the Conversations with Friends actor broke up several weeks ago due to “differences in their personalities,” a source told PEOPLE. Swift is planning to keep going on her Eras Tour until August.
