The “House Bunny” star, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas has done a photo shoot for a campaign announcing her collaboration with Naked Cashmere on a Mother’s Day line. She said:
“I’m so grateful that I’m so close with my family and I get to rely on them for support, It’s fun to be bringing in the first grandkid in our family especially because we’re such a huge group at this point.”
Willis flaunts her growing baby bulge in a scantily clad photo shoot for the knitwear line. In another, she wears a loose sweater and wraps a cozy blanket around her waist.
Willis dons an open cardigan and knit pants from the label in a third ad, this time going shirtless. The press statement states that the actress will curate capsule collections for mothers and infants and collaborate on future styles for Naked Cashmere.
Her debut collection will focus on cashmere styles reimagined for the modern lady and mom with pieces that are versatile and fashionable and offer comfort and ease during and after pregnancy.
In November, Willis announced her romance with musician Thomas. The couple had a star-studded baby shower last month to honor their impending parenthood.
Demi Moore, Emma Heming, Stephanie Shepherd and “Dancing with the Stars” alum Peta Murgatroyd were among Willis’ guests. Even though the mother-to-father-be’s Bruce Willisn was unable to attend the event owing to his increasing dementia, Thomas won over attendees by playing the piano.
The 34-year-old actress is expecting her first child with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas and she has been thinking a lot about whether or not her kid will get her inherent “goofiness” from her parents, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.
She tells:
“We’re a family of weirdos and I love that so much. I really hope that that is engendered in this child. That’s my favorite thing, laughing with my family.”
The Die Hard actor’s blended family which includes his daughters from his first marriage to Demi Moore, Tallulah Willis and Scout Willis as well as his daughters from his second marriage to Emma Heming Willis, Evelyn Penn and Mabel Ray have been keeping their fun-loving focus and excitement for “this new tiny person” front and center as they rally around him following the diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.
Demi, Emma and Rumer’s sisters gathered on March 12 for the expecting mother’s baby shower and again on March 19 to commemorate Bruce’s 68th birthday.
In People’s post, Rumer elaborates on her pregnancy, explains why she is a “birth junkie” discusses the traits she hopes her daughter doesn’t get from her parents and describes the love and support she has received from her family. She said:
“I have so much reverence and respect for women now. Compared to my peers, I feel that my body has had it relatively easy. As an added bonus, my enthusiasm always seems to win out over any difficulties or frustrations that may arise. It’s crazy, though. It’s completely out of this world, beyond anything I could have imagined”.
