Insane, dumb, hazardous, harsh, and kind stunts on YouTube have made a lot of people filthy rich. MrBeast is a very popular internet personality. His success can be partially attributed to his generous and selfless actions.

However, he received backlash for one of his more recent actions when he left a car as a tip for a waitress. I don’t see how giving away a brand-new Toyota Camry could get someone in trouble.

Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast, doesn’t hold back when it comes to attracting attention online. In his time filming videos for YouTube, the user has pulled off some very crazy and impressive exploits. Why he has over 130 million subscribers because of this.

He is well-known for several extreme feats, like starving himself for 30 days while filming the experience, spending $456,000 on a real-life squid game, and being buried alive for 50 hours.

Despite his reputation for lavish spending on publicity stunts, he has also impressed his fans and followers with charitable endeavors such as a $25,000 donation to St. Jude, a $100,000 cash donation to a homeless shelter, and the establishment of Beast Philanthropy, a channel for a charity that donates all of its revenue to various causes.

Recently, he gave 20,000 underprivileged children in Africa a reason to grin by providing them with their very first pair of shoes. This time, it’s because he gave a young waitress a brand-new automobile wrapped in logos as a “tip,” and the internet is not happy about it.

The act has gone viral on social media, but some have criticized it as insincere promotion of his new chocolate business. On Monday, a 42-second clip featuring the gesture was uploaded to the social media platform TikTok. MrBeast is seen in the video inquiring of Amy, the waitress, about the largest tip she has ever received.

MrBeast inquired if she had ever tipped a car before giving her the keys to a black Toyota sedan after she said she had $50.

Then he led her across the parking lot to the car and explained its features. The 24-year-old waitress’s emotional response reflected her disbelief at what had just transpired. She sat in the driver’s seat of her brand-new car and admitted to MrBeast that she had no idea how to operate it.

“I’m in such disbelief at the moment. “I don’t even know how to drive,” Amy admitted. MrBeast wrote in the video’s description, which has racked up more than 50 million views: “Amy’s been going to work without a car for months, thanks to you we changed that:”

Some have claimed that MrBeast used the woman as an “advertisement” for his chocolate business after the video went viral.

“Don’t get me wrong this is a nice thing but I wouldn’t love driving around a feastables branded car. Maybe it was just for the video” a user wrote.

“So basically she has to promote his company by driving the car. He also is getting a big tax write-off from this… . she has to pay for gas and insurance too,” wrote another.

CarScoops reports that in the wake of the YouTube star’s recent gesture of kindness, several commenters have accused him of exploiting his fans for publicity.

There is no room for argument here. Is it charity if it has to be filmed so that the giver may make money out of it? Somewhat helpful, but generous? Not everyone on the web agrees.

MrBeast did indeed present his waiter with a brand-new Toyota Camry, but the car was emblazoned with his company’s logo. It’s not clear whether the logo and branding for MrBeast’s chocolate bar company are painted on or simply a wrap on the automobile.

Even if the YouTuber always benefits from his “generosity,” this one seems to have the internet more agitated because of its apparent lack of subtlety. So effectively, she has to promote his firm by driving the car, as one tweeter put it.

It’s common knowledge at this point that the internet is not a nice place. The tone of the comments went from simple expressions of dislike to far more hostile and insulting language.
