CMT Music Awards for 2023, held on 2 April, Sunday and fans’ favorite singers and rappers won their biggest award. The award ceremony was held at Austin’s Moody Centre and live streaming by CBS, and Paramonut+.
A maximum of four nominations was achieved by Lainey Wilson and after having three nominations Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, and Cody Johnson were in the queue. But Jelly won all his three nominations for trophies and placed first himself as the winner of maximum categories.
According to the CMT award, Shania Twain was chosen as the recipient of the CMT Equal Pay Award, especially for those celebrities who support “elevating diverse and underrepresented voices in country music.”
With this nomination she become the third celebrity to win this award, the last two were Jennifer Nettles and Linda Martell.
With the hosting of Brown and Kelsea Ballerini, the show was completed including tremendous performances by Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Gwen Stefani, LeAnn Rimes, and Alanis Morissette. Presenters of the event were Megan Thee Stallion, Hardy, Noah Schnapp, Travis Kelce, and more.
