Assistant to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Marikit “Kitchie” Laurico passed away unexpectedly on March 31 after complaining of illness the day before. She has reached the age of 47.
She had a heart attack and d!ed of natural causes. Mayweather viewed Kitchie as a trusted associate and partner in business. Together, they saw the world and she took care of his every need.
The information first appeared on Friday 31 March, afternoon on social media. Mayweather has yet to address the passing of Kitchie. At the age of eleven, Kitchie left the Philippines for America. In college, she majored in PR and marketing.
Mayweather hired Kitchie as his assistant and TMT’s marketing manager after the two randomly crossed paths.
Kitchie has been the recipient of numerous online memorials.
