Four months after Young Dolph’s untimely passing, the circumstances of his dea†h have been made public.
FOX13 Memphis reports that Dolph was shot 22 times, which is consistent with the autopsy report released on Tuesday (March 15) by the West Tennessee Regional Forensic Center. Reports indicate that the late Memphis rapper was struck multiple times across the body, including the following locations: right back, center back, left back, right arm, left arm, left chest, left abdomen, right chin, right neck, right wrist, and right shoulder.
The nearly two dozen gunsh0t wounds suffered by the Memphis rapper include entry and exit points. The dea†h of Dolph has been determined to be a homicide.
Young Dolph, real name Adolph Thorton Jr., was k!lled in a shooting on November 17, 2021 at approximately 1 p.m. inside Makeda’s Homemade Cookies, located at 2370 Airways Blvd. in Memphis.
The shop’s owner, Maurice Hill, told FOX13 aforementioned that workers had told him that Paper Route Empire’s CEO had come in to buy cookies when a car pulled up and shot the rapper.
Justin Johnson, aka Straight Dropp, a 23-year-old rapper, and Cornelius Smith, a 32-year-old purported sh00ter, have been arrested. Two suspects have been identified as the men who allegedly fired shots into Makeda’s Homemade Cookies from a parked, stolen Mercedes-Benz, k!lling Dolph. Surveillance footage caught the entire thing, and police eventually located the car and the alleged shooters.

The third person suspected of being involved in the murd*r is named Shundale Barnett, and an arrest warrant has been issued for him. Last month, he was supposed to be extradited from an Indiana jail to Memphis, but he was accid*ntally released. His current whereabouts are unknown.
The murd*r of Dolph has also been linked to two other men, Devin Burns and Joshua Taylor.
