Ray Liotta Cause of Dea†h

American actor Raymond Allen Liotta was born on December 18, 1954, in Newark, New Jersey. He originally came to prominence with his performance in Something Wild (1986), for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe.

After being left at an orphanage at the age of six months, he was adopted by Mary (née Edgar), a township clerk, and Alfred (née Edgar), the proprietor of an auto-parts store.

While filming Dangerous Waters in another country, the actor passed away peacefully in his sleep. Ray’s fiancee, Jacy Nittolo, joined him on his work trip to the D.R. According to TMZ’s reporting, there were no indications of murd*r or other unusual circumstances.

After his untimely dea†h at age 67, Ray Liotta’s body was flown back from the Dominican Republic for his memorial service.

There has been no announcement on the actual cause of dea†h. Ray Liotta and his fiancee enjoyed dinner at Naca’n Restaurant before he was d!ed in the Dominican Republic.

Naca’n shared a photo (which is not available now on her Instagram profile) of the couple from their night out, praising the actor for his “warm and generous” behavior. The caption read:

“Mr Ray Liotta joined us for dinner with friends, We had a nice chat about the history of our building and our business. Very friendly and generous gentleman.”

The Luxury Steakhouse added another photo of him after his passing. The tribute said:

“He was a special person and alented actor that will be missed, your friends at Naca’n will remember you fondly”.

While in Miami, Liotta focused on acting and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1978. At the University of Miami’s Jerry Herman Ring Theatre, he was in productions like Cabaret, Dames at Sea, Oklahoma and The Sound of Music.

Liotta relocated to New York after finishing his degree. Within six months of starting work as a bartender for the Shubert Organization, he had signed with an agent. His role as Joey Perrini on the soap opera Another World spanned the years 1978–1981.

He quit the series and relocated to Hollywood. The Lonely Woman, released in 1983, marked his first cinematic role. In 1986, for his first significant acting performance in Something Wild, he was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture.
