As All American is one of Netflix’s most-watched original programs, it seems sensible that its spinoff, All American: Homecoming also resides on the service. When season 2 of All American: Homecoming concludes on The CW, will there be a season 3?
The CW renewed the sports drama for a second season shortly after its February 2022 launch. Despite an unusual amount of episodes being canceled by the network, All American: Homecoming was spared.
Of course, as the second season concludes on television cancellation fears are returning. Because All American has been picked up for a sixth season, would the third installment of All American: Homecoming premiere at the same time?
What is All American Homecoming Season 3 Release Date?
On Monday, March 27, the second season of All American: Homecoming ended on The CW. There are 15 episodes in Season 2. Homecoming will not be available on Netflix until a week after the CW’s regular-season finale airs.
On Tuesday, April 11, as previously announced, the second season of All American: Homecoming will debut on Netflix. This is an unusually long delay, coming not just one but two weeks after The CW season finale. Yet, your patience will be rewarded.
There has been no word on the show’s future from The CW as of the March 27th season two finale. All American: Homecoming season 3 is not yet confirmed.
The CW has not announced the fate of any of its other written shows after All American’s sixth season, leaving Walker: Independence, The Winchesters, Kung Fu and others in limbo.
When making final judgments on its scripted material, the network and its new owner, Nexstar, have not specified what they are searching for. Since its parent show was the only one on the network to receive an early renewal.
