The marriage between Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling has reached an impasse, and Eva Marcille wants a divorce. The couple have filed for divorce after four years of marriage. Marcille petitioned the Superior Court of Fulton County for a divorce from Sterling, whom she had married in October 2018.
TMZ has received court documents filed by the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star in Georgia, in which she is seeking a divorce.
She also makes it quite clear that she and Michael are no longer together. Eva gives no grounds for the divorce other than the marriage is irretrievably broken and there is no hope of reconciliation which amounts to an assertion that the couple’s differences are insurmountable.
Nonetheless, she does detail her preferences for their three children, all of whom are younger than 10 years old. Eva wants primary legal and physical custody of her children.
Eva claims she should have the ultimate say in all parenting decisions because she is the best person to care for their children.
She also expects child support payments from Mike moving future. Eva thinks he should help pay for the kids’ medical, dental, and hospital bills.
Eva claims that she is entitled to half of their joint assets and debts incurred during the marriage. In 2018, Eva and Michael tied the knot, and they appear to be doing well. It’s evident that things have changed since she gushed on camera about her now-estranged husband to us.
On October 7, 2022, Eva Tweeted a photo of herself smiling and wishing her husband a happy anniversary. The pair, however, recently separated.
