Actor Jonathan Majors was arrested on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in Manhattan for what police called a “domest!c dispute” and he faces charges of strangling, @ssault and h@rassment. The 33-year-old Mr. Majors was arrested peacefully, according to the officials.

The victim, a woman in her 30s was brought to the hospital with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries to her head and neck. Carrie Gordon a spokeswoman issued a brief statement for Mr. Majors in which she said his client had “done nothing wrong.”
“We hope to soon be able to clear his name and this up,” the statement read. A 911 call was made from a Chelsea apartment at West 22nd Street and Eighth Avenue at around 11 a.m., according to the New York Police Department.
The actor was found to have been involved in a domest!c quarrel with the woman who reported being @ssaulted. The police did not release any more details regarding the incident on Saturday night. Mr. Majors is on the rise in Hollywood, and his recent performances have established him as a serious Oscar contender.
He had a starring role in this month’s “Creed III” and a supporting one in “Magazine Dreams” for which he received praise at the Sundance Film Festival. Even in Disney’s Marvel franchise, he’s starting to make a name for himself.
