The family of Wattpad adaptations expands. In case you haven’t heard of it, the After movies are based on a series of novels that first gained popularity as One Direction fan fiction on the website Wattpad. Through My Window, the three novels in the Kissing Booth series, and Light as a Feather are just a few of the Wattpad books that have been adapted for the big screen. The next book to get the adaptation treatment is Claudia Tan’s Wattpad novel Perfect Addiction.
It follows Sienna (Kiana Madeira), a young woman who discovers her boyfriend is having an affair with her sister. As he competes in mixed martial arts, she makes the decision to train an opponent specifically for him. She starts developing romantic feelings for the new trainee she is instructing, taking a turn from where she had originally planned.
In 2021, Kiana Madeira, Ross Butler, and Matthew Noszka were named as the major cast members on Deadline. Castille Landon, known for her work on Fear of Rain, After We Fell, and After Ever Happily, helms the film, with Stephanie Sanditz penning the script. Sanditz has previously written for the television show Talk Like Love.

Perfect Addition Release Date
On March 27th, you can see Perfect Addiction in theaters. There is a link to buy tickets on the film’s website, but you can only see it in theaters on March 27 and 29. The film is available on Amazon Prime Video for viewers all over the world.

Perfect Addiction Plot
Sienna, an MMA trainer, has her heart destroyed in Perfect Addiction when she catches her lover Jax (Matthew Noszka) cheating on her with her sister. In the blink of an eye, she loses her house and the support of two people she trusted. Sienna is motivated to find and train a new fighter so that he can defeat her ex-boyfriend. What begins as vengeance, though, may ultimately blossom into love. The official synopsis provides a more accurate preview of the film.
According to the preview, viewers will get a glimpse into Sienna and Jax’s romance, their eventual downfall, and the fallout from their split. Sienna appears ready to move on, but Jax is seemingly doing everything he can to fix what he damaged and keep any possible suitors away. He assures Kayden (Ross Butler) that Sienna is his forever and that he and Kayden will be reunited soon.
