Brynn Hartman, still in shock, fled the house and drove to see her friend Ron Douglas, where she made her confession. Brynn Hartman’s statement was at first disbelieved by her friend, who knew her to be prone to dramatic and erratic outbursts.
They returned to Hartman’s house, where Douglas discovered his partner dead in bed from a gunshot wound. Brynn Hartman had already killed her husband when the police arrived, so she locked herself in the bedroom and shot herself.
