Murder Mystery 2 Characters: Who Will Play Detective Role?

Murder Mystery 2’s cast is ready to again solve another mystery as they did in 2019 during the first installment. Nick and Audrey return again with a new island and a new mystery. This time they solve a case where a dead body is found during a wedding and one friend got kidnapped.

Do not worry they will easily catch the culprit from several suspects. Let’s expose the cast of your favorite crime and comedy series Murder Mystery season 2.

As you all know this comedy series will be streaming on its platform Netflix from March 31. The whole cast is described here who will reprise their characters.  The main lead is wearing their detective cap again so you can watch Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler again.

Both are husband and wife in real life, and Murder Mystery is the first film aired on Netflix filmed by a couple. With their comedy, this series collects 83 million views. After one season this film was announced for a remake. The whole cast members join again for a new season including Tony Goldwyn, Mélanie Laurent, Annie Mumolo, and more.

As the shooting begins actors start posting their images on social media and there we get some idea of who will return again.

Jennifer Aniston captioned with image “Back to work with my buddy. #MurderMystery2,” some days later she again upload a post on Instagram with “Merciiii Paris 🇫🇷 That’s a wrap. #MurderMystery2.” This means that Jennifer definitely playing her character.

Adams’s entry was confirmed by Netflix in a tweet “Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are back!” and the streamer also confirm its release date “Murder Mystery 2 premieres March 31.” The whole cast is explained below:

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler plays the character of Nick Spitz, a retired officer of the NYPD. His character is also a comedian. Before now he appeared in Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, The Meyerowitz Stories, and Punch-Drunk Love.

Jennifer Aniston

Nick’s real-life wife character is played by her real-life wife Jennifer, Audrey Spitz. She helped him to catch the culprit. After her this memorable role she won several nominations including her appearing in the Morning Show and Friends: The Reunion. You can watch her performance in Friends, Marley & Me, Just Go with It, Dumplin’, Horrible Bosses, We’re the Millers, and  Friends with Money

Murder Mystery 2 Characters

Jodie Turner-Smith

She plates the character of Countess Sekou who is the Maharaja’s snooty. She dating her former fiancee. She starts her on-screen career in 2017, her first film was True Blood. She said about her character  “I would argue that the Countess is not a villain.

And she certainly doesn’t see herself that way. She just has very specific things she wants, like money, and there may be collateral damage from that. But so be it. She really doesn’t dislike anyone…well, except maybe Audrey (Aniston). She finds her voice grating.” She also appeared in  Queen & Slim, White Noise, and After Yang.

Adeel Akhtar

He plates the role of the Maharaja, a friend of Nick and Audrey. He plays a different role in several series like a police inspector Lestrade in Enola Holmes and Enola Holmes 2. Mark Strong

Mark’s character is Conner Miller who is a former MI6 hostage negotiator. He appeared before now in The Kingsman films, Tár, Stardust, Shazam!, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

Mélanie Laurent

Cladutte Joubert’s role is played by Melanie who is a French supermodel and Maharaja loved him. She won two awards one for acting and the other for direction, which are Cesar Awards. Her other movies if you would like to watch are Inglourious Basterds, 6 Underground, Now You See Me, and Operation Finale. 

Kuhoo Verma

You will watch Kuhoo as Saira, the sister of Maharaja intelligent but antisocial. She appeared in off-broadway shows and movies like fairycakes and Octet, The Big Sick, and Plan B.

Enrique Arce

Francisco Perez is a popular player character played by Enrique Arce. He is a Spanish actor who studies law despite acting. But later he chooses acting and gets success. He proves that you are never late to complete your dreams.

You can watch him in his other movies like Beyond Re-Animator, Terminator: Dark Fate, One of the Hollywood Ten, and Iron Cross.

John Kani

John plays the character of Colonel Ulenga you can say bodyguard of Maharaja also in the last season of Murder Mystery. Kani belongs to South Africa but later he was known as the father’s role in the U.S. Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa in the Black Panther films. His other films are Black Panther, and The Lion King (2019).

Dany Boon

Dany’s character is famous as Inspector de la Croix from the previous season. He began his acting career in Paris by playing comic roles. He appeared in Welcome to the Sticks, Raid Dingue, and the French dubs of Frozen and Zookeeper movies. 

Zurin Villanueva

Last but not least character Imani was played by Zurin. He is a stage performer whom you have seen in shows of The Book of Mormon to Mean Girls. You can watch him in Detroit, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.  To confirm the release date of Murder Mystery read the below tweet:
