Dwayne Haskins who was killed on a roadway in South Florida on April 9 was found to have “drank heavily”. According to findings made public, Dwayne Haskins “drank heavily” and used ketamine in the hours before his death and his blood alcohol level was 24 when he was involved in the accident on April 9, 2022.
A Steelers representative reportedly told investigators that Haskins had spent the day training with colleagues in the Miami region on April 8, before going out that night with a “friend/cousin,” as detailed in a report from the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The representative allegedly informed investigators that Haskins “drank extensively” before getting into a fight, as stated in the files. Haskins’ body which had been on the road for several hours was discovered after a dump truck had hit him in Florida.

In the papers, the woman’s relationship with Haskins is not specified. An autopsy report was also made public on Monday, May 23, 2022 and it revealed that two of Haskins’ blood samples were positive for alcohol, with one showing a.20 BAC and the other a.24 BAC.
