American singing reality series “The Voice” has won four Emmy awards and is back for Season 23. Except in the fall of 2022, when it was first broadcast, the show has always premiered in February and March. Nonetheless, they’re back for auditions because Season 23 will debut at its usual schedule.

The Voice Season 23: Meet the Judges

Blake Shelton, who has been a part of ‘The Voice’ since the show started on NBC, will not return for Season 23. The show’s producers revealed Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper, who will serve as coaches this season instead of Gwen Stefani and Camila Cabello.
We also know that Blake Shelton is one of the coaches and that Kelly Clarkson is returning for her eighth season after a brief absence.

For the show’s twenty-third season, Carson Daly will serve as host, and this time, Reba McEntire will serve as the show’s Mega Mentor.

The show’s Blind Auditions began on March 6, 2023. There will be six episodes of Blind Auditions, the sixth and last one airing on March 21, 2023.

How are the Contestants Shortlisted?

In the Blind Auditions, the artist(s) present their song on the stage with the judges facing the audience.

  • If a coach likes the voice of the artists, they can press the buzzer and face the stage.
  • When a coach presses the buzzer, the artist is automatically placed in their team. If more than one coach presses the buzzer and turns, the artist can decide whose team they wish to join.
  • Every coach has one ‘Block’ power that will prevent another coach from taking the artist in their team.
  • The show will proceed once there are ten artists on each team.
