As per reports, Pop Smoke was shot in the chest and died. Bashar Barakah Jackson, a 20-year-old rapper from Brooklyn was shot and died at a Hollywood Hills residence on Wednesday, Feb, 19, 2020.
There were armed intruders inside the residence, according to a 911 call made by a friend of a resident. As Pop Smoke was transported to the hospital with several gunshot wounds, doctors attempted to save his life by opening his chest.

What was Found in Pop Smoke’s Autopsy Report?
TMZ has obtained Pop Smoke’s official death certificate which states that in an attempt to extract bullets, physicians conducted a left thoracotomy on his chest. He had been shot numerous times by unknown intruders who broke into the home where he was living in the Hollywood Hills.
According to the paperwork, Pop Smoke was killed by a gunshot to the chest. His death is described as “rapid” after the shooting. Rapper Bashar Barakah Jackson (real name) passed away at 5:12 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The paperwork also shows that his body was returned to Brooklyn and Pop Smoke’s loved ones held a private ceremony for relatives and close friends. Pop Smoke was 20 years old at the time of his death.
