Christopher Fox, the brother of Julia Fox was arrested on multiple firearms and drug-related charges on Thursday, March 9, 2023 after police raided his Manhattan apartment and found what appeared to be a tangled web of wires, pots, cords and what appeared to be narcotics.
During the early morning sweep, police reportedly found ghost guns and evidence of narcotics manufacturing in the Upper East Side apartment and they arrested Christopher, 30 and his father, Thomas, 65.

However, according to the sources, the authorities’ attention was focused on the son because he was the one who kept the items in his bedroom.

Christopher, who was once described as a “mad scientist recluse” by the “Uncut Gems” star has been charged with drug possession manufacturing a machine gun, manufacturing a rapid-fire modified device, manufacturing a dangerous instrument, unlawfully carrying a firearm, unlawfully carrying out a firearm transaction and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
In his mugshot, Christopher sported unruly hair and a beard that looked to have grown for at least a few days. The Post’s access to photos of the residence supports his “mad scientist” persona; one shows a jumble of pots and wires, while another appears to show pill bottles and other esoterica.
Several untraceable homemade firearms and 3D-printed components, including lower receivers were discovered inside. Additional items typically used to create explosives such as 3D printers, polymer material, unidentified pills, a pill press, pressure cookers, fentanyl, chloroform, heroin, propane, formaldehyde and so on were also reportedly seized by the police.
According to sources, authorities were alerted after receiving a number of suspicious online purchases (including chemicals) at the East 81st Street apartment. A representative for the New York Police Department stated that the situation was “believed to be contained with no apparent nexus to terrorism.”

What did Julia Fox say about her Brother?
The Italian-born model/actress has previously discussed her sporadic interactions with her father and brother while growing up in New York. Fox, 33, shot to fame after appearing alongside Adam Sandler in the 2019 crime thriller “Uncut Gems,” directed by the Safdie brothers.
Fox, along with other family members, has described her brother as an eccentric scientist who prefers to work alone. They said he was shy and sensitive, adding that he “wouldn’t hurt a fly.” Fox allegedly severed ties with her brother and their “insane” father years ago, according to The Daily Mail.
Their father was emotionally and mentally unstable, and he was responsible for raising both Julia and Christopher. “She was aware of her father and brother’s 3D printing and suspected drug use, but she knew nothing about it because she never spoke to either of them,” the source said.
‘Her dad is insane and has caused her emotional trauma that she will have to deal with for the rest of her life,’ the source told the Mail. She had always had an inkling that his past mistakes would eventually catch up with him. She’s relieved that nobody got hurt because of his vile behavior.
