Although an autopsy report showed that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died of a stroke on January 7, he is still being characterized as a victim of January 6, slain by President Donald Trump supporters rioting at the Capitol.
After initially reporting that Sicknick had been killed by being hit with a fire extinguisher, the New York Times eventually retracted its story.
But today, influential Democrats like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Nancy Pelosi point to Sicknick’s death as proof of a “deadly rebellion” at the Capitol on January 6.
Contradicting this assertion is previously unknown security footage from within the Capitol, which was released by Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson on Monday night.
“After he was purportedly assassinated by the mob outside,” Sicknick is seen making his way through the premises.
The clip shows that Sicknick is in good health and able to move around regularly. He motions for the demonstrators to leave the building and squats down to hide a sign under a statue.
Carlson comments, “it’s hard to assume he was killed by a head injury,” because the man is wearing a helmet.
“Whatever happened to Brian Sicknick was very obviously not the result of violence he suffered at the entrance to the Capitol. This tape overturns the single most powerful and politically useful lie the Democrats have told us about January 6.”
Digital bookmarks in the Capitol’s database reveal that the investigating committee on January 6 watched the identical footage of a healthy Sicknick strolling around the building after the violence subsided.

But Carlson says “they refused to release this tape to the public because this tape would shatter the fraud they were perpetrating on the country, because hiding the truth served their political interests.”
