What New You Will See in Kuma Kuma Bear Season 2?
Little Fina and Yuna had barely reunited to solidify their friendship before Season 1 came to an end and fans are eager to see what these girls are up to next after almost two years of patiently waiting.
Yuna’s love for her favorite VRMMO, World Fantasy Online became permanent after she mysteriously lost the ability to return to reality, as it does for many Isekai adventurers.
Nonetheless, it is not a major setback because this NEET was already spending all her time playing video games. Yuna wants nothing more than to relax and unwind but her extraordinary powers have come with heavy responsibilities such as guarding the vulnerable and saving the innocent.
The good news is that EMT Squared Studios led by director Yuu Nobuta (Fairy Tail, Ouran High School Host Club) will be bringing back the entire cast and crew from Season 1 for Season 2.

The return of this all-female gaming crew is one of the highlights of Crunchyroll’s upcoming spring lineup for 2023, beginning on April 3.

The beginning of Yuna’s extraterrestrial adventures far outpaced Kumanano’s light novel content, so the anime has some room to develop its own plot (particularly from Season 1, episode 10 onwards).
Now with fourteen volumes of material, it’s hard to say whether the Kuma Kuma Bear Punch! anime will go its own way which would explain the abrupt title change or follow in the footsteps of Kumanano’s popular light novel series.
