Kim Hyun-Woo aka Owen is a member of the rap group Mkit Rain which was established in 2015–2016. They released some joint work with rapper pH-1 under the moniker Sous-chefs in 2017. Also in 2018, they worked together with Dope’Doug & Dolla$.

Owen is a rapper from South Korea. He made his debut in 2016 under the moniker MKIT Rain. He has a South Korean birthplace. Since the third grade, he spent about half his childhood in New Jersey. During his time in middle school, he relocated to Ilsan, South Korea.

Kim Hyun-birthday Woo’s is October 13th and he was born in Seoul, South Korea. He moved to New Jersey with his family when he was 8 or 9 years old in 1999 or 2000 and stayed there until 2005. When Owen was around 13 or 14, his family made the decision to relocate back to South Korea.

What Comment did Owen make on ITZY’s Ryujin?

Owen, a rapper has been called out for making some insensitive remarks about ITZY’s Ryujin. When the rapper addressed a critical remark made about him online, the backlash began in earnest. However, the comment’s original poster brought up ITZY’s Ryujin which has caused an uproar among the group’s diehard supporters.

Though it has since been removed many netizens voiced their distaste for his response in the comments section. They also claimed that his comment was s*xually harassing to the ITZY member. Owen has been at the center of s*xual harassment claims before.

The rapper’s comments that he “can’t stand white b**ches” drew widespread criticism. In the middle of one of his Instagram lives, he blurted out. Reports of the rapper’s drug use have caused controversy before.

Because of the backlash, the rapper quit appearing on Mnet’s Show Me The Money and his segments were eventually cut from the show altogether.

After he mocked the Black Lives Matter movement during yet another Instagram live session, he became the target of even more criticism. He was quoted as saying, Why do I need to acknowledge the struggles of black people? The necessity of it seems silly.

The rapper has stayed out of the spotlight and into relative obscurity ever since he was involved in a number of high-profile scandals. The rapper has addressed his previous controversies with apologies, but his comment about ITZY’s Ryujin has not been addressed.
