Eric Holder Sentenced to 60 years in Prison

Hussle was killed in 2019 and on February 22nd, 2023, Holder was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison for the murder of Nipsey Hussle nearly four years after Hussle was shot and killed outside of his Los Angeles clothing store, as per the reports of NBC News.

In July 2019, a jury found Holder guilty of first-degree murder for the killing of 33-year-old Hussle. Holder was found guilty of one count of firearm possession in addition to the two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter.

Before the verdict, Holder had been charged with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder for two other people who were injured in the shooting. Two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter were all the jury could find against him in relation to the surviving victims.

Hussle, born Ermias Asghedom has been celebrated and honored in many ways since his untimely death. These include two posthumous Grammy Awards in 2020 and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hussle’s longtime girlfriend Lauren London with whom he had a 6-year-old son named Kross Asghedom has also paid tribute to the late rapper.
