Swimsuit model and former NFL offensive lineman Haley Kalil has filed for divorce from their husband Matt Kalil. TMZ reports that the model filed for divorce on Wednesday, citing “irreconcilable differences” in their report.
This couple tied the knot in 2015, but they’ve already reportedly split up. The couple does not appear to have started a family yet.
Now 32 years old, Matt Kalil was chosen by the Vikings in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, and he immediately earned Pro Bowl honors. In the end, he started at left tackle for the Vikings in 2015 and 2016 and for the Panthers in 2017.
After suffering a knee injury during the 2018 season, he was cut loose in the offseason. He was dismissed from the Texans in March 2019 after having joined the team earlier in the year.
“When I was little, I watched ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ and would practice all the poses on the playground,” she said at the time. “But I was like, the stereotypical nerd. I had glasses, I had the weird haircut … in my head, there were so many roadblocks in the way.”
At 17, Kalil received the title of Miss Minnesota Teen USA, but after being turned down by modeling agencies, she enrolled at St. Cloud State University, where she studied biomedical science and psychology. She earned a perfect 4.0 Summa Cum Laude and spent time during college helping out at a local hospital and immunology lab.

Kalil, now 29 years old, has been featured in Sports Illustrated annually since 2018 when she answered a casting call while studying for the Medical College Admissions Test.
