Star Trek: Picard Season 3

Star Trek: Picard Season 3

Star Trek: Picard’s third and final season premieres later this week. In 2018 the Star Trek spinoff was revealed and in 2019, a trailer was released. After its initial debut in 2020, Star Trek: Picard continued with a second season in 2022.

Taking place 20 years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis (2002), in which Jean-Luc Picard was last seen, Star Trek: Picard finds the character struggling with the loss of Data and the destruction of Romulus.

According to the plot summary, “Picard, now retired from Starfleet and living on his family’s vineyard, is dragged into a new adventure when he is visited by an apparent daughter of Data, one of several new synthetic beings, or synths.'”

Before Stewart officially confirmed the season in 2021, filming for the third and final season began in 2020 so that it could be shot simultaneously with season 2. Filming for the final season concluded in March 2022.

Does Star Trek: Picard Season 3 have a Teaser?

In case you missed it earlier this month, we dropped the official trailer for season 3 of Picard. A desperate communication from a long-lost friend drives Starfleet legend Admiral Jean-Luc Picard into the most daring mission of his life, pushing him to recruit allies spanning generations old and new, as described in the synopsis for the final episode of Star Trek: Picard.

With this final mission, he will come face to face with his history and the explosive new information that will change the Federation’s future.

To date, it appears that season 3 of Star Trek: Picard will be Stewart’s last in the role of Picard. Alex Kurtzman, the show’s producer, said, “When we started the series, Patrick and we all talked about really wanting it to be just three years, feeling that we could really tell a complete tale with the season you’re currently seeing as our endpoint.”
