The actor Cody Longo who played Nicholas “Nikki” Alamain on the NBC daytime soap series “Days of Our Lives,” has passed away, his representative said. He was 34.
TMZ reports that on Wednesday, an actor and singer named Cody Anthony (who was also known as Cody Anthony) was discovered dead in his Austin, Texas home. Stephanie Clark, Longo’s wife, contacted the police to check on him at home while she was at work at a local dance studio.
“Cody was our whole world. The kids and I are shattered and beyond devastated. He was the best dad and best father. We will always and forever miss you and love you,” Clark said in a statement.
Longo, an entertainer who made his name with roles in films including “Ball Don’t Lie” and the 2009 “Fame” remake, was born on March 4, 1988, in Littleton, Colorado. Longo, as teen heartthrob Eddie Duran in 78 episodes of “Hollywood Heights” on Nick at Nite, landed recurring parts on shows including “Make It or Break It” on ABC Family.
In the same year that Longo made his debut on “Days of Our Lives,” he also featured in two episodes of “CSI: New York” as Jo Danville’s son Tyler Josephson and as Nathan Culver on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.”

Alex Gittelson, Longo’s representative, said, “Cody was a dear friend for over a decade before he was a customer.” What a lovely family he has. We kept in touch often, and he was looking forward to returning to acting this year after taking some time off to explore music and spend more time with his family in Nashville. Cody was a wonderful person: devoted, caring, and gifted.
