After two years away at other venues owing to societal separation during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Grammy Awards returned to the Crypto.com Arena, formerly the Staples Center on Sunday. The live show is scheduled for Sunday, February 5 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS and Paramount+ will provide a streaming option. Who performed as the show’s opening at the Grammy 2023

The Grammy Awards began on Sunday in Los Angeles with a surprise performance by Bad Bunny whose upbeat party-like set got the crowd up and dancing including Taylor Swift who was sitting at a table nearby. The New York post shared a video in which you can see Bad Bunny who is singing a song.

The ceremony which marked the show’s return to its long-time home in Los Angeles for the first time since 2020, was inaugurated by Trevor Noah, who gave a speech while standing outside Crypto.Com Arena. With certain other cities disregarded, “the best city in the world” as Noah put it.

He then introduced Bad Bunny who opened the act by performing on a platform by himself before the aisles filled with dancers in colorful skirts and enormous masks. At Bad Bunny’s introduction, Noah referred to him as a global power.

Noah, who had returned for the third year running began his speech in the midst of the crowd after the show.
