They tied the knot in a Greek Orthodox Church in Akovos and it was every bit as magical as a fairytale.
In Maria’s words, “everyone there made sure that the wedding was about love and us and everyone made it the most special day for us,” Menounos reflected on her and her husband’s big day. Nobody complained or whined about anything. Everyone there was just trying to make the day memorable for us.

Menounos told Yahoo! Entertainment that the two met in 1998 when she was 19 years old on the set of a movie they were both working on. Undergaro proposed to Menounos in 2016 on The Howard Stern Show while they were promoting Menounos’s book, The Every Girl’s Guide to Cooking nearly 20 years after they first started dating.
She told the media, “It was love at first sight”. On the other hand, Undergaro felt the same way about the woman who would one day be his wife. He later reflected,
I had never met anyone like Maria when I first met her. Even though we had only known each other for a few days, it was still very emotional when we said goodbye. We were both overcome with a desire to weep but couldn’t place why.
