Kimetsu no Yaiba, the Demonic Assassin It has been announced that the premiere of “To the Swordsmith Village” will take place on February 18, 2023, at the Los Angeles Orpheum Theater in California. In the season opener, we’ll see the showdown that concludes the Entertainment District arc and sets up the next season’s main storyline, set in Swordsmith Village.
Clips from the third season were leaked on Twitter after their premiere in select Japanese theatres on February 4 and 5. The same leaks that revealed Upper Moon One: Kokushibo and gave fans their first look at the Swordsmith Village have fans on Twitter gushing about the upcoming season.

The above clip of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was shared by the Shonenleaks Twitter account. Episodes 10 and 11 from the Entertainment District arc, as well as the longer version of Episode 1 from the Swordsmith Village arc, were combined into a single feature-length theatrical release titled “To the Swordsmith Village.”
After the deaths of Upper Moon Six, Daki, and Gyutaro, the clip introduces the remaining members of Kibutsuji Muzan’s Twelve Kizuri. Akaza, from Upper Moon 3, is punched by Doma, from Upper Rank 2, after the latter makes a contemptuous remark.
Upper Rank Four: Hantengub and Upper Rank Five: Gyokko, the arc’s primary villains, are also introduced to the audience. Nakime, a monster who resides in Muzan’s Dimensional Infinity Fortress, and the highly anticipated Upper Rank One: Kokushibo both make appearances in the footage.
One more footage from the upcoming season was just leaked, and it shows Kibutsuji Muzan in a new outfit as he experiments with demon blood while discussing Gyutaro.

Demon Slayer’s animation has always been top-notch, but Studio Ufotable really upped their game with the third season. It will be exciting to witness powerful demons like Gyokko and Hantengu in action in the Swordsman Village arc, especially considering the high quality of the animation and the incorporation of CGI. They will be opposed by Kamado Tanjiro, Agatsuma Zenitsu, and Nezuko, as well as Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji and Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito.
